The life cycle of fleas: fleas lay their eggs deep in the fibers of your carpeting, your furniture and even your pet’s bed. The female can lay from a hundred to a couple of thousand eggs all through her life. If you think that is Scary how about The fact that she does not live that long. Giving the fact that fleas are not like termite or bees where only specified females lay eggs.

Fleas go through four life stages

First the eggs; the egg can last for about a year, but they really thrive in the hot seasons. That is when they begin to hatch

The larvae; At this stage, they have a severe craving for food. They can eat any organic matter including their fellow eggs if they do not hatch fast enough. During this stage they prefer dark, humid places.

Pupa; once the larvae have eaten enough they wrap themselves in cocoons and become pupae. They can stay in this stage for about 7 to 10 days if they sense danger; otherwise, they can wait for weeks.

The adult
